Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 13, 2026

Prova is operated by Chandler Nguyen. This policy explains what Prova collects, why it is collected, which service providers process it, and the controls available to users who use the product.

Translations are provided to help users read this page. If a translated version conflicts with English, the English version controls.

What we collect

  • Account information such as email address and authentication identifiers.
  • Assessment and onboarding data such as your answers, placement, track, and first sprint context.
  • Conversation and memory data such as coach messages, summaries, identity memory, coaching patterns, and other context needed to personalize the product.
  • Progress data such as sprint submissions, reviews, roadmap state, reflections, skills, and saved resources.
  • Billing metadata such as Stripe customer and subscription identifiers. Prova does not store full card numbers.
  • Operational logs needed to secure, monitor, and debug the service.

How we use data

  • To authenticate users and keep accounts secure.
  • To generate placement, sprint progression, coach context, and roadmap state.
  • To process sprint submissions, reviews, reminders, weekly digests, and billing lifecycle events.
  • To support product operations, abuse prevention, debugging, and service reliability.
  • To analyze aggregate usage patterns if analytics or operational monitoring is enabled.

Cookies and session data

Prova uses authentication and session cookies required to keep you signed in and to protect core product flows.

Prova uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how the product is used. Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors and collect usage data such as page views, navigation paths, browser and device information, and approximate location data according to Google Analytics defaults. You can opt out using browser extensions such as Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Tracking and Do Not Track

Prova does not engage in cross-site behavioral tracking of its users. The third-party services listed above operate under their own privacy policies and may set cookies as described in the cookies section. Prova does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals because there is no consistent industry standard for how to do so. If that changes, this policy will be updated.

AI processing

Coach conversations and background product features may be processed by third-party AI providers to generate responses, evaluate sprint work, interpret context, summarize product state, or support retrieval. That processing is limited to what is needed to run the relevant feature.

Retention and deletion

Prova keeps account and product data for as long as needed to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain system integrity. Users can delete their account from settings, which triggers deletion of product data associated with that account.

Your controls

  • View and update parts of your profile and memory settings inside the app.
  • Export your account data as JSON from settings.
  • Delete your account from settings. This is irreversible.
  • Contact Prova for privacy-related questions or requests.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and active users may be notified through the product or by email when appropriate.
